The Lizmore Lantern Parade aims to conjure optimism and to be creative. This is an award winning community festival that will feature artistic and brightly made lantern floats, dancing, music, workshops, other events (market delight market stalls, lantern parade, street party) and a fire event finale that will start at 6:45pm at the Jolley Field . Newport’s Christmas Boat Parade has been judged one of the top ten holiday events in the country by the New York Times. The boats promenade along a 14-mile route and range from modest small craft to imposing trophy yachts.
